Chair’s Welcome Message
We are delighted to invite you to the inaugural I.ECONOMY, FINANCE, and BUSINESS SUMMIT: DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT (EFBS2025), to be held on April 29-30, 2025, at Istanbul ATLAS University.
The concept of development has been a central focus for global societies, especially since the Industrial Revolution. Over the past two decades, a critical new element has emerged on this agenda: sustainability. Achieving success is important, but ensuring the sustainability of that success is what truly gives it meaning. Therefore, development—long a central concern for societies—has evolved to encompass the notion of sustainable development.
In the 21st century, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has emerged as a transformative force with the potential to redefine this paradigm. As Istanbul ATLAS University, we believe it is our intellectual responsibility to facilitate a deeper understanding of this pivotal moment in history. Through this conference, we aim to highlight AI’s potential role in advancing sustainable development and bring its capabilities to the forefront of discussions among society, economic actors, and policymakers.
